{"id":16864,"date":"2021-06-04T08:07:53","date_gmt":"2021-06-04T06:07:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oneco.no\/arkiv\/lading-i-borettslag-og-sameie\/"},"modified":"2025-10-03T12:41:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-03T10:41:08","slug":"new-rules-for-charging-electric-cars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oneco.simplylearn.dev\/en\/new-rules-for-charging-electric-cars\/","title":{"rendered":"New rules for charging electric cars"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">New rules for charging electric cars in housing cooperatives and condominiums as of 01.01.21<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">The Storting has decided that as of <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">January 1, 2021<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"> , you are now required to have a charging point established if you live in <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">a housing association<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"> or belong to a <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">condominium<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"> . <\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">This does not mean that you are entitled to a parking space if you do not already have one, but if you have a parking space, <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">you can now demand<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"> that <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">a charging point be established for you<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"> . <\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">According to new rules, the housing association\/condominium must cover the costs of infrastructure for chargers, so that electricity is provided to each parking space.<\/span><\/span><br \/><br \/><\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-10129 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/old.oneco.no\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Montasje-elbillader-Vetle-023-scaled-e1622795164794-226x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"226\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\r\n<h5><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Before setting up infrastructure\/assembly, it is important to think through the planning phase:<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Number of charging points, do not prepare charging points for 10 units, if it turns out afterwards that one should have had 12.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Type of charger, please agree on the model\/type of charger, as it can quickly become problematic to install different chargers on the same infrastructure.<\/span><\/span><br \/><br \/><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h5><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Example of satisfied customers with charging systems installed by OneCo:<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Prestheia Terrace 98-100 (Read more <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/issuu.com\/sorlandetboligbyggelag\/docs\/boogmilj__november2019\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">in the case from SBBL, page 19.<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"> )<\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">The Andreas Kj\u00e6rs Plass condominium.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">If there are no permanent parking spaces, the housing association\/condominium must also cover the costs of installing and mounting each charger, but the actual electricity consumption must be covered by each user.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">If there are permanent parking spaces, the owner must cover the costs of installation and assembly, as well as electricity consumption -
